The EV6 aluminum frame is low weight and uses a pivot-minimizing suspension design. Removing the rear pivot helps keep chassis weight down, while also reducing complexity and maintenance. The rear suspension is designed for efficient pedaling. As a result, Spearfish climbs extremely well and exhibits very little suspension bob. Standard 135 9mm rear dropout, Tapered 1-1/8 to 1-1/2” head tube and press-fit BB30 bottom bracket are all part of the modern MTB designs.

The EV6 aluminum frame uses Salsa's pivot-minimizing suspension design and this frame includes a 142 x 12mm Maxle rear dropout to keep the rear end tight and tracking well. Removing the rear pivot also reduces chassis weight, and reduces complexity and maintenance. The anodized finish drops a bit of weight as well. We named this frame after the town of Spearfish, South Dakota, home to the Ridge Riders Mountain Bike Club, the Dakota 5-O race, and hundreds of miles of killer singletrack trails. Spearfish. Charge your lights because tonight’s ride will be a long one.

Other Modern upgrades include a tapered 1-1/8 to 1-1/2” head tube for stiffer front end and more precise steering. Coupled with the press-fit BB30 bottom bracket to transmit pedaling power more efficiently than other designs.

Like it's literary namesake, the Jabberwocky is big, mean and eats it's smaller contenders for breakfast. This is a super Versatile, 29er single-speed is just what the doctor ordered to convert the skeptics or revitalize the converted. One speed, gears, rigid or squishy, the Jabberwocky delivers! Classic Steel with clean lines...no gimicks. Vassago frames use their 29er specific double butted 4130 Rtech tubing, rust inhibitor treated tubing, Gusseted headtube for extra strength...and killer WetCat Geometry.

We were told via Vassago himself that we should NOT expect to see any overseas frames/forks (Jabberwocky, Bandersnatch, or ODIS) again until January 2012 which will include some much needed improvements. We are not asking for cloor optuions at this time...sicne there will undoubtely be some uber cool new options for 2012. So please just order a size and we'll contact you when we have the new details on the frames.
