Race Face X-Type Deus Crankset (X-Type with chainrings and integrated bottom-bracket)
Not compatible with ISIS or other bottom-brackets. 7000-series forged and CNC machined arms for incredible stiffness and power transfer • 64/104mm compact 4-bolt pattern, Industrial grade massive external sealed cartridge bearings. RaceFace lightweight ramped and pinned alloy chainrings, Adjustable chainline, Minimized chainring bolt spacing shaves weight. Fits 68mm or 73mm frame bottom-bracket shells, Ultralight cromoly pipe bottom-bracket spindle and non-drive arm are one piece similr to the new Shimano designs. Each of the top three RaceFace cranks feature this new integrated design, and, unlike Shimano® RaceFace engineers and riders felt the non-drive arm was the more logical choice, as that's traditionally the side that loosens on most conventional systems. For 2005 theEvolve XC has been upgraded to the new X-Type external bottom bracket system. Manufactured from 6066-T6 aluminum, this material is over 30% stronger than 6061.
