2015 Salsa El Mariachi 2

Bikepack, slay singletrack, and see what's over the next mountain on Salsa's El Mariachi 2. The Salsa Kung Fu triple-butted chromoly frame delivers a lively and comfortable ride, while the the large-and-in-charge 29-inch Shimano wheels and Fox Float 29 fork make mincemeat out of any terrain. Plus, it comes with Shimano SLX disc brakes for stopping power to spare and a quick-shifting Shimano SLX/XT 2 x 10-speed drivetrain to handle the ups and downs of every trail. Salsa's geared or singlespeed-ready Alternator dropouts let you switch it to a singlespeed quickly and easily, or keep rocking it with gears. It's all about choices and good times with your Mariachi.

    Comments:

Have pushed this bike as hard as possible on a variety of single tracks. Rocky, loose, cobble, smooth, steep, steps, roots, and sinuous high speed curves. Compared to riding high end steel and titanium hard tails for years, the Mariachi rips with the best of them at half the price. So good can't wait till tomorrow. Maybe have to find the nitelite..?
