WARNING: Biking and Inline Skating are Potentially Dangerous!

Introduction:
Llocated just west of downtown Northville, this state park offers a wide array of activites including. Visitors can choose from a day of picnicing, petting farm, horseback riding, fishing, walking, inline skating, jogging, hiking, cycling, sledding, XC Skiing, and mountain biking. The current paved trails is a combination of loops and double back sections. over the course of teh last few year this paved trail has been completed to offer a smooth, and substantial trail. You will find some small rolling hills and longer straightaways. If you would liek to know more about the Mountain Bike specidic trails click HERE. Be warned the MTB specific trails are difficult and can be dangerous, riders should always wear a helmet, head trail signs, and be careful NOT to ride on a trail that is above their limits.

NOTE: Please be aware of your surroundings, the paved trail crosses other trails (horse, hiking, MTB) in several locations. Also there are many other paved trail useres including families and children, be caustious and gove notice when passing.

Season All year long, but note the hours of operation when entering the park. The summer is great, but temps can be between high 70's & 80's. Wear bright breathable clothing, bring water, and any food or supplies you might need. There are several swamps in the general area as well, so Bug spray is a great idea before riding, walking, etc. Also as Dr. Lisa always says "Wear Sunscreen".

Amenities:
The park has running water, bathrooms, soda machines, and outhouses. During the winter the park closes the bathrooms and water faucet, so be prepared before you go. There is the occasional vending machine available, and plenty of parking.

Please Note that all MTB trails are closed December15th through April 15th each year. Please DO NOT walk, hike, or ride on these trails during this time. The paved trails are open all year.


Considerations:
There are a large number of enthusiast using these paved paths, from joggers, walker, bikers, inline skaters. All these groups need to be considerate to the other, these paths are designed with "Multi-use" in mind. Remember to keep you speed in check, don't spook other trail users or wildlife, and pay attention to your surroundings. Especially with when crossing roads and parking lots. As enthusiasts we should all share the burden and use the paths sensibly. Stay in control, and on the beaten path (avoid short cuts), do not to destroy any vegetation, and always throw trash in the garbage cans.
