Introduction:
I was only able to find this place with a little help from Todd at Down Wind Sports in Marquette. He also expressed that the area is on private land, with a don't ask - don't tell access. There is the occasional class from the local collage here as well. As for quantity of rock, it is limited to a short band about 40 ft or taller and makes is part of the Marquette mountain ski area. The rock is again a hard quartzite with little texture. All climbing here is either trad or top rope. No bolting is allowed here...this will help continue access to this area. remember that your actions could impact the access to this privately owned area.

Season: Best time of year is summer when temps range between 60 and 80 degrees. Winter is an excellent time to try Ice Climbing, since temps are typically below freezing, and the area is filled with waterfalls. Michigan's Upper Penninsula is a nice break from climbing in the south, where temps are almost always in the 80's, but the quality of rock just isn't there.

I could not find any guidebooks for this park, but stop by "Down Wind Sports" for some assistance (they also have a weekly climbing social night).
