This bike was built up for a return customer who has had 2 very nice suspension bikes for the past few years, but wanted a hard tail for the easier days, longer events, and long dirt road style rides. Her husband had already purchased a 29er Gunnar from us last year, so we offered that up as our first suggestion for hand made, nice hard tail bike. She didn't want the 29er, but still wanted a nice steel frame...so the Standard 26 Rock Hound is what we chose.

Both of her other bike were pink, or at least at one point were pink. So this bike she wanted to keep the pink, but in a more subtle way. So we of course put on the Chris King Headset and Then matched it to the pink Chris King bottom bracket. Using some old parts and a few new ones we were able to get this bike sized up properly and running just the way she liked.
