This was our first Niner and even with the snag on Niner's part we did a little scrambing to get our customer the bike he really wanted. Seems that Niner had sold out a much larger dealer area than any small company would consider. They in essance killed about 20 potenital dealers becuase on shop had submitted a $4500 early season order.

Our issues is that we had established an account with Niner the previous year we thought we would be able to order frames...We even called to check avail. and were given current stock levels. So we sold the complete bike to our customer, ordered parts, and when we went to oder the frame were told that they could not sell us a frame becuase we fell in "the zone" for the dealer mentioned above.

So what now? well we had already commited this frame and the customer should not have to pay becuase of Niner's short sightedness. We called up another good bike shop that was outside "the zone" and they agreed to help us get this customer the frame we needed.

This was a complete new bike with some great parts.

Scroll down to view some pictures we did manage to take before it left the shop...If you have questions about these project bikes please feel free to e-mail us at trails-edge@trails-edge.com and we'd be happy to help as much as we can.
