Russ has been an avid cyclist for many years and has owned some nice botique brands already. For his new bike he had been reading about the 29er's and decided he wanted a good durable bike, made with a steel frame. We talked about options and geometry of the different brands. He decided upon the Gunnar after talking to other local Gunnar owners and doing some online research as well.

The parts kit was easy, Russ had an idea of what he wanted to spend and what kind of parts he wated to get too. We speced the bike out with Shimano XT, and upgraded the wheels and headset to Chris King parts.
