This was our first 2006 Racer X. The new models included the carbon seat stay and new hydro-formed chainstay...dropping 1/4 lb. off the frame. This customer was coming off a Santa Cruz Blur who wanted enjoyed his Blur...until we let him demo a Titus :-). Mike wanted the best frame he could get and he also wanted to go with SRAM equip. to see what all the hubub was about. Avid Juicy 7 brakes, SRAM X.0 rear Der and Shifters, Truvativ Cranks...and DT Swiss 240 wheelset. This is one sexy bike. But it doesn't just look good...It works great too. Mike has since told us how he now realizes how much more efficient and fun this bike is over his previous MTB.
Scroll down to view some pictures we did manage to take before it left the shop...If you have questions about these project bikes please feel free to e-mail us at trails-edge@trails-edge.com and we'd be happy to help as much as we can. |
