This bike was a fun project where the customer came off a Cannondale Scalpel with the Carbon Lefty Fork. He loved the Lefty so much he decided to try and keep it. We located the 123 racing company that makes an aftermarket converter so you can use the Cannondale Lefty fork on any 1 1/8" head tube frame. We took a lot of the parts his old Cannondale and set up the fork for him At first we were a little worried that the 110 fork might off set the frame angles a little too much, but after completing the build the bike looked and worked great. Unfortunatley I messed up and deleted some of the photos I had taken...this was the only remaining picture we had. I'll get more and post them later.

Scroll down to view some pictures we did manage to take before it left the shop...If you have questions about these project bikes please feel free to e-mail us at trails-edge@trails-edge.com and we'd be happy to help as much as we can.

Updates 5/1/08 - Don made the leap to SRAM a little while ago. Below are some updated photos of this unique bike build. The bike works great he has had zero issues with handling or other with this fork configuration.
