Since
We bagan selling Vassago's a few years ago they have become our shop
favorite...We usually have several demo's (i.e. personal bikes) built
up for us to enjoy as well as letting customer find out how well a
29er can really work.
This Bandersnatch is one of our first Bander's we recieved and we
just had it powder coated a few weeks ago and updated some parts.
...giving this bike some much needed TLC.
The powder coate was done locally and we applied the new Copper headbadge
and pewter colored decal kit from Vassago. On top of the frame upgrade
we also purchase a new Rock Shox Reba fork, Thomson stem and post
and new SRAM x.9 rear der.
The wheels are actually being worked on at this time, were re-lacing
the old Sun Ringle Dirty Flea wheelset with Mavic TN719 hoops and
DT Swiss DB 15/15 spokes. The Schwalbe Racing Ralph 29x2.4 tires are
great for traction, light wt, and nice and soft when they need to
be. You may also note the 2x9 drive train using Black Spire chainrings
on the Truvative Stylo Cranks.
We took some pictures, it is hard to really tell the coolness of this
powder coat color, but it is irridecent and fades from a dark green
to a bronze from the side view. Giving this bike a uniqueness all
it's own.
